(KGI), a family business that has expanded from residential glass repair to large commercial glass installation. Today, KGI completes a large percentage of structural safety and glass installation public projects in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Founded in 1982 by journeyman glazier Alan Kapiloff, Kapiloff’s Glass, Inc. (KGI) started out by offering residential glass repair and window installation. An expert in the trade of glass installation, Alan established Kapiloff’s Glass on pillars of craftsmanship, skill and integrity. From day one, quality craftsmanship has been at the heart of the glass installation business. More than four decades on, that same dedication to quality continues to be a hallmark of services offered by Kapiloff’s Glass.

Vice President and COO

Peter Kapiloff is the Vice President and COO of Kapiloff’s Glass, Inc. (KGI).  In his role as Vice President and COO, the executive leader manages all aspects of Operations, Estimating and Project Management of the glass installation company.

In 2000, Peter Kapiloff joined the family business founded by his father, Kapiloff’s Glass, Inc. (KGI).  Energized by ingenuity, Peter joined the glass installation company with clear goals of innovation.  Recognizing the potential of Kapiloff’s Glass, Peter sought to transform the company’s position in the glass technology business.  Taking a hands-on role at KGI, he rolled up his sleeves to learn the in’s and out’s of the glass installation business.  With a vision of growing a commercial division of the company, Peter worked diligently to revamp Kapiloff’s Glass for entry into a new market.  By 2008, he expanded KGI’s business model from residential to commercial.  Ushering in a new era for the glass installation company, KGI formally closed its residential operations to concentrate solely on large commercial projects. 

Leadership Updates

As of January 1 2025, Kapiloff’s Glass announced a transformative shift. Peter Kapiloff will begin to transition to an advisory role within the company. This move coincides with the exciting news that three internal employees have acquired ownership stakes and will now lead daily operations. Peter’s advisory role ensures that his 25 years of expertise remain a guiding force, while Kapiloff’s Glass embarks on a new chapter of innovation and growth.
