Peter Kapiloff is a supporter of Konbit Sante, and the founder of Konbit Kapiloff. Kapiloff’s support of Konbit Sante includes donations, as well as volunteer work in Haiti. Established on pillars of sustainability and community development, Konbit Sante operates on the premise of solving Haitian problems with Haitian solutions. Konbit Sante works to establish a strong foundational core for sustainable healthcare systems in the Republic of Haiti.
Volunteer Haiti
Founded in 2015, Volunteer Haiti is a nonprofit organization led by AmeriCorps VISTA. This organization is a diverse way to support volunteer efforts in Haiti, as Volunteer Haiti connects with numerous initiatives. Focus areas include education, technology, agriculture, healthcare, the environment and emergency management for natural disasters.
Haiti Now
Haiti now works to empower Haitian girls living in Restavek; or domestic servitude. Restavek is a Creole term meaning “to stay with.” This denotes a process in which children are isolated from their families in exchange for food and shelter for strenuous work hours. Haiti now envisions a future where young Haitian girls are free from Restavek and able to overcome poverty and achieve economic security.
